L.A. Noire was so talked about when it came out. Like it was some groundbreaking wonder. I haven't heard a peep about it since. I guess it was a mirage.
My problem is not what to play next, but how to manage all that I want to play next. Too many games!!!
I'd say it's worth it at $20, so I'd wait a little bit. It's price is going to plummet I'm sure very soon. It's short too. My friend finished it in seven hours I believe. Howlongtobeat.com is claiming 5 hours, but I think that's if you race through it. Still, it's definitely short. It reminds me of those History Channel games which are also kind of bargain bin stuff, but interesting for their authenticity and servicable gameplay.
I'll be back on PS3 when something cool comes out for it, then I'll be checking these sales out. I have Odin's Sphere but Disgaea looks tempting.
Slap RPG on anything, even Angry Birds, and I want to play it.
I still keep my url around to look at it from time to time and reminisce. I never log back in though.
It gets better as it goes along but there doesn't seem to be a cover system. You're either exposed or covered and unable to target anything. Kinda wierd that. The back of the box says you can tackle areas any way you want, stealth or force, but I get sighted so quickly, I end up just runnin' in guns-a-blazin'. It's rare that I get a chance to take a hostage or move a body to avoid detection.
I second that.
DICE could do some interesting things with Star Wars. I can't wait to see more of it.
I wish I could get that GBA version Elevator Action: Old & New, but it only came out in Japan. I think there was a GBC version too, Elevator Action EX. . . Oh yea, and there's the Dexter's Laboratory: Robot Rampage which is just a redesign of EA EX for GBC. I got all those on my wishlist.
