I think I got a press release about there being a new Guilty Gear game coming out next year. I wonder if I'll get to review it? I have a pretty good relationship with Arc System Works and usually get to review most of their games.

One good thing about going out on a date with Jam, or any other fighting game lady, is that you don't have to worry about bad guys because she will beat them all up!
Jam is one of my favorite Guilty Gear characters, but I don't know why. Other characters I like include Faust, because he has a bag over his head, May, because she fights with an anchor, I-No, because she has a cool hat, and Dizzy because her name is funny. I can't think of any other characters right now.
Keeping with the Guilty Gear theme, your pretend present is backstage passes to one of I-No's rock concerts. I'm assuming she has concerts, since she fights with a guitar.
She is going to have her breasts removed, which will lessen the chance of the cancer coming back and she won't have to have chemo or radiation, so that's good. Surgery's in mid-January, so thanks for all your prayers!

Why do you think his name is Chef Peter Pepper, silly! :) You know, when I was a kid, after I played BurgerTime in the arcade for the first time, when I got home I cut out a paper chef hat and pepper shaker and played 'pretend' BurgerTime around the house.
Your pretend present is a dinosaur from Dino Crisis that you can keep as a pet! Who wouldn't want a pet dinosaur?

You know, I don't even like playing the Ghosts N Goblins games that much, but for some reason, I get excited when a new game in the franchise comes out! I like the fact that the artist who does the characters for the games also does the cover art for Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu. He also did the art work for the spinoff series Maximo. One cool thing about Maximo is I know one of the guys who helped develop it. He's one of my Facebook friends and also worked on Pac-Man World. I've kept in contact with him since my newspaper days! He designs board games now.
I've always wanted to try Dino Crisis, but since survival horror games really aren't my thing, it's REALLY low on my priority list. The main character lady with the red hair looks cool, though.
Speaking of Capcom, I just got a press release from them that they announced two new games: Ghosts N Goblins Resurrection and Capcom Arcade Stadium.
Capcom is still one of my favorite game companies. They have such awesome character designs, too. You know, if Sony and/or Microsoft want me to buy their PS5 and new Xbox systems, all they'd have to do is convince Capcom to release Mega Man Legends 3 on them!
I haven't tried Galaxy on handheld mode yet. I might take Mario 3-D All-Stars with me today and play it on my lunch hour to see how it works!
Good comparison about Sonic Team. I feel that Sonic Team has a lot of good ideas, they just don't implement them in their games very well.
Yeah that rainbow carpet ride level in 64 is tough! Sometimes when I'd play through Mario 64, I'd question if I really wanted to do that level or not. Remember when I said I got all 120 stars in Mario 64? Well I only did that once! Not in any other playthrough of it.
Yeah I'll have to write a blog maybe sometime next year about my favorite PS4 games. I usually do that with a console once I consider it somewhat 'dead.' But I don't feel like the PS4 is 'dead' yet. I feel like I'll still get some pretty good PS4 games out of it this next year. But I could be wrong. Sony just does a better job at not abandoning their last console the way Nintendo does. But that could always change. There's nothing on the PS5 I want right now, except for maybe Bugsnax and I think that's on the PS4 as well.
I didn't get a PS4 until 2016 and I got it on a Black Friday sale. There just wasn't enough games on it beforehand that I wanted. Another reason why i got a PS4 then was because the Wii U was pretty much dead by then. 2016 was not a good year for me and Nintendo.
I never did get an Xbox One. I have nothing against Xbox, in fact, the 360 is one of my top five favorite video game consoles ever. There just wasn't enough on the Xbox One that I wanted to play for me to warrant a purchase, and about half the games I did want to play ended up coming to the Switch! Like the Ori games and New Super Lucky's Tale!
