Yeah if you like cats and Metroid, Gato Roboto is a good one to get.

Yeah when I played the VA-11 HALL-A game, it seemed like something you would like. I even thought of you while playing it. Probably because there is a lot of text in the game, and I know you like to read a lot of books. Thanks for reading!
It's like when I went to see the Grand Canyon. Photos of it just don't do it justice.
Do you have Nintendo's paid online service? I didn't until last week. I got Mario Maker 2, but I got a version of it that came with the online service for half off, so I only had to pay ten bucks for it. So once I got that, I downloaded Tetris 99. Have you played that one yet? It only works if you have the online service, but otherwise, it's free.
If you want to actually pay money for a good Switch downloadable game, try BoxBoy + BoxGirl. It's a whole lotta game for only ten bucks. There si a demo you can download to try before you buy, too.
Stupid Sexy Flanders!
I never played Slalom, but I hear it was pretty good for an early NES title. It's also one of the first games Rare made for Nintendo.
I never really got into ski games, though. Only ones I got into were We Ski and We Ski and Snowboard (and Go Vacation). But they were made by Namco, so I mainly got them for the classic arcade references (which there are lots). One cool thing about those games is that it's like you're at a ski resort, and will probably be the closest thing I get to seeing what a ski resort looks like. But that's OK because skiiing doesn't sound like something I'd enjoy in real life anyway. Too cold.
Huh. I wonder why those two characters. :)
I don't think there's any July games I really want. There's a Umihara Kawase game coming to Switch, but I don't have to have it right away.
I bet they'l re-release and remaster the older KH games on new consoles for a long while, so you'll have a lot of chances to try it again I'm sure.
I didn't know there was a NInja Gaiden game on DS. Or if I did, I forgot about it.
Yeah, running around Disney worlds is about all I like in Kingdom Hearts.
In Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (the one on PSP), there is a Lilo and Stitch world, but it's kind of a prequel so the world is set in space when Stitch was just Experiment 606. So you explore a lot of spaceship type areas in that world.
We all have unpopular opinions about games. Some of mine include that I don't think most Sonic games are very good, and that I also think Kirby is better than Mario. Another one of my unpopular opinions is that I don't like Earthbound very much. In fact, when I was first trying out to write for The Dallas Morning News, I had to submit two reviews: one for a game I liked, and one for a game I didn't like. Since I was big into 16-bit RPGs at the time, the review of the game I did like was for FF6. And for the one I didn't like? You guessed it, Earthbound.
The two main reasons why I don't like it is that one, I feel that the battle system is antiquidated, especially when compared to more fun battles in games like FF6. I just felt like I had stepped back to the clunky NES RPG days. The other reason why I don't like it is the story. Normally story isn't that important to me, it's only important in an RPG just to tell you where to go next. And that's where the problem lies in Earthbound. The story is so nonsensical that it's hard to tell where to go sometimes. When the game was released in the US, it came with a strategy guide for a reason.
Since I can play Earthbound easily now on my SNES Mini Classic, I'm willing to give it a second chance now. But it's also not as big of a priority for me to do so since I have so much other stuff to review and play. But I will say one good thing about Earthbound. it really pioneered good RPG translation. Before this, even great RPGs like FF6 were a bit of a stiff and clunky read. But games like Earthbound and Super Mario RPG really paved the way for better game translations.
