New Halo Book Reading

I had one or two Star Wars books as a kid, but mostly cause they caught my eye in the books and magazines sections while I searched for EGM.

Btw, all I could get out of my roommate was "south Maine."

What's your favorite anime of all time? Would you be able to list at least your top 10? (QA question).

And this looks like anther wacky premise getting serious. God bless anime. Thanks, Buddha!

Yeah. Too bad she's also a serial killer.

BaD 2017.17: back to games.

Horizon might be my only $60 physical game this year, like Arkham Knight was fur me in 2015. TLG took me about 10 hours, maybe less. You should be good there. Get ready for some gorgeous animation, decent but repetitive puzzles, and satisfying but clumsy platforming due to iffy controls at times. Loved that game despite its flaws.

BaD 2017.16: that college life.

I'm the same way often times, though I do understand having fluff conversations to make you more likeable ... But being a waiter taught me that, not college.

Honestly, for me, college was just a challenge to get through more than anything. I've always learned more by just researching things I'm interested in than I have from class requirements. Working for Residence Life in undergrad made me more introverted than anything. Grad school was more about being willing to work an insane amount than it was being smart. My professor job is showing me I still really need to work on time management and organizational skills.

I'm also learning that I take English writing skills for granted, cause when my students write things that make NO sense and are grammatically awful, I have a hard time pointing out specifically why.

College is really what you make of it. We tell our students all the time they need to be doing more than we give them, cause what we give them is partly based on how long/big a project we can realistically get graded in a reasonable time frame.

2 for 20 is what my dad and i did the other day. He had ribs and asparagus, i had Cajun pasta.

I know Dubya wasn't in NBA Jam, but I feel like he had to be in something.

I miss CD Warehouse, but I will say I enjoyed the shift in rock from sad grunge to bubbly pop punk, especially since I turned 10 at the start of the decade.

I might have to nab a copy of simple and clean.

We had SNES and I wasn't allowed to play MK, but the arcade version at kids places like Cici's arcade had the gore anyway so ...

I honestly couldn't tell you. When my Kines doctorate friend have me this routine, it involved 30 minutes on an incline walking fast every other day, not a 5k. Bike is different from running, since you can cover more distance without necessarily exerting more effort. Not knocking bike at all, just saying my roommate ain't gonna go 20 miles on foot every now and again like he does biking.

I'm a sucker for cel shading, but I was responding to Be BaD not the game in this title. I honestly know nothing about it.
