I think the achievement pop-up was giving me a kind of dopamine rush like winning at slots. It got kind of adictive for a while there. Now I could care less. They can take their dopamine and shove it.

Seems kind of ambitious with mixing 2D and 3D gameplay.
I noticed that without trying on a first run I usually get about 50% of the achievements. I'm focusing on the story from here on out. If I replay a game for fun and get a new achievement, great, but I'm not looking at the list anymore. As someone said once, "ain't nobody got time for that".
I read on wiki that Kubric's daughter did the incidental electronic music for Full Metal Jacket. I always remember the song Surfin' Bird by the Trashmen. What a great, crazy song that one is.
I noticed that change in the music when you are underwater when I played it on Rare Replay last year - very cool. I do remember getting lost in the world a few times. I needed a map.
None so far. I'll get to it sometime soon. I'm going to play everthing I just downloaded.
That's what I'm going to do now - just enjoy the trip.
I want to get the game without the toys too, but only because of money. I love the toys.
I hope the game appears on Game Pass or on sale digitally. I'll probably try it out. That comparison with Voyager has my interest.
I never played it. I want to though. One of these days I'm going to do a FF run and play them all. I mean, I've played the first one, FFIV and a little bit of XII, but I'd love to do a deep dive on the series.
I was trying to think like a developer and figure it out. Maybe they know how much some people play a game and want to give them some reward. I sometimes can't believe how much time people put into a single game. And those youtubers who find everything and give you a walkthrough. The time to play that and then construct a video of it boggles my mind.
I haven't been keeping time-played stats anymore but if I combined my 2014 playthrough with today's, and both versions of the game, it has to be several hundred hours.
I want to see a celebrity deathmatch between Teddy Roosevelt and Jane Austin.
You got Starlink. Cool. I want to try that game when it goes on sale. $1.31 is kinda crazy though.
That's like a small dog's eye view of DJ Quik on that cover.
