Good to hear from you! I'm surrounded by friends who write now. Maybe I should get in on this thing.
Always wanted to read Mona Lisa Overdrive. I should read all of W. Gibson, actually.

I never saw NG in the arcades. Maybe I just was just too distracted by 1943 and Sky Shark.
Still need to get back to DQXI and Ni No Kuni 2.
I should try Fallout New Vegas sometime.
Astral Chain looks cool. I always liked the Platinum/Clover games' fighting systems. They're doing something interesting with the camera during battles in Astral Chain too, which I like.
I'm glad Sakura Wars is coming back. I still have to get into So Long My Love. Anything remotely related to Valkyria Chronicals is of interest to me. I still haven't played the full game of VC4 though. I'm thinking of picking it up right now.
I may have that around here somewhere.
I tried the remake of KH 1 a little while back and got stuck in a area only a few hours into it and stopped playing. I forget what happened. I think it was a jump I couldn't make, or a room where it seemed impossible to get out of. I'll try it again someday. I really like running through Disney worlds like I just did in Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure and the Disney Infinity games, which I'm going to replay sometime soon.
I'd like a Wall-E area in a KH game. Running arounds as FF characters on the space ship would make me think it's Phantasy Star.
I remember trying Ninja Gaiden on Xbox. I respect it, but it demanded too much from me. I tried Ninja Gaiden Black too and did better, but I still have no patience for it - repeating battles annoys me.
I also remember Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword for the DS. I always wanted to play that because the graphics looked so great - never did though.
Demo is on PS4 too. Maybe I'll try it there.
I'm constantly amazed at the amount of real estate and volumes of voice and general sound in this game. Even robots have voices. Creatures growl and make sounds that are almost knd of funny in their way. The Varkids, which are basically like giant mosquitos, make this screetching sound that I keep hearing in the real world. It must use a common tone.
I keep thinking of the developers working for literally years on this world. I wonder why sometimes because it's just a game and will likely disappear from the world when technology upgrades in a dozen years or less. Some of these games are like art film, or just good film and should be preserved. I don't know how that will be done, or if anyone cares.
That's partly why I'm into short games right now, except when Mark and I both get on a new (or old favorite) game. If both of us aren't playing it, it's hard for me to stay the course with a long game. That being said, even with the social element in place, I'm getting a little burned out on B2.
I did all the side missions but there are challenges I could do to keep playing it. I'm more interested in running through all the old DLC right now, though.
