Game Informer Confirms Gears of War: Judgment

People Can Fly will handle development and will feature series favorites Baird and Cole.

Game Informer teased a new Gears of War announcement yesterday and has now fully revealed the game. Gears of War: Judgment will be the next game in the franchise, and will seemingly feature both Baird and Cole in a more prominent role. Furthermore, Epic Games president Mike Capps confirmed on Twitter that People Can Fly is developing the game.

Assassin's Creed III Ubiworkshop Edition Now Available For Pre-Order

The special edition comes with an encyclopedia and graphic novel.

Though Assassin's Creed III is still a number of months from launch, Ubisoft has made available a special Ubiworkshop Edition of the game for pre-order. In addition to a copy of Assassin's Creed III, it will include a second edition of the Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia and the Assassin's Creed Subject 4 graphic novel.

Warner Brothers and NeatherRealm Reveal Injustice: Gods Among Us

Brand New Fighting Game Featuring DC Comics Finest.

Continuing the slew of new fighters being introduced this generation, Warner Brothers and NeatherRealm, the makers of the Mortal Kombat series, have announced Injustice: Gods Among Us. This fighter is completely based around the characters within the DC Comics universe and pits them against each other in what are bound to be pretty epic battles. Based on the debut trailer of the game, it seems as if something has happened to the DC Heroes which turns them evil in some way, making them a threat to everyone.

Anarchy Reigns Western Releases Delayed

Japan's release date remains unchanged.

Sega has changed the release date of their upcoming title, Anarchy Reigns. Developer Platinum Games announced on their  website that the title has been delayed in both the US and Europe. Desipte being completely finished and localized, Sega has slapped a TBC (To Be Confirmed) date on the title until a final decision is made. In Japan, however, the game will still be available on July 5.

Mass Effect 3: Rebellion Pack DLC Confirmed

More Free Mass Effect 3 DLC Incoming.

Confirming the rumors that leaked out a few weeks ago, Mass Effect 3's next multiplayer focused DLC entitled: Rebellion is confirmed for release on Tuesday, May 29th (or Wednesday, May 30th for Europe PSN users) for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Best part about this DLC is that it is again free of charge, assuming you already have activated your Mass Effect 3 online pass.

XCOM Shooter Delayed to Take-Two's Fiscal 2014

Once set to be released this year, the FPS is drifting farther and farther away.

Hot off the heels of the release date for the strategy game XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Take-Two has announced that XCOM, the first person shooter take on the strategy franchise, has been delayed into "fiscal 2014." The news was announced during Take-Two's annual earnings call.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown Coming October 9, 2012

Pre-order bonuses have also been unveiled.

Following the delay of the XCOM FPS, 2K Games announced earlier this year its plans to release XCOM: Enemy Unknown, a game more like the beloved strategy franchise it was based on. Those waiting for XCOM's return now have a solid date to look forward to. The action-strategy game will be released on October 9, 2012 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

MLB 2K Series Canceled

MLB 2K12 will be the last entry in the long running sports franchise.

Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of 2K Sports, has confirmed the discontinuation of its annual MLB series of games. "Our legacy Major League Baseball agreement will sunset in fiscal 2013," a Take-Two spokesman said. "MLB 2K12 is our last offering under that agreement. At this time, we have no further comment."

Bungie's Project With Activision Revealed, Code-Named "Destiny"

Activision's lawsuit with former Infinity Ward developers revealed the agreement.

Activision's high profile development deal with Bungie, creator of the Halo franchise, was revealed during the equally high profile lawsuit between themselves and former Call of Duty developers, Jason West and Vince Zampella. The terms of the deal with Bungie weren't disclosed when the information originally came to light, but the lawsuit has revealed the full scope of the agreement. The 27-page contract states that Bungie is to develop four "sci-fantasy, action shooter games," code-named "Destiny." The titles will be released every other year, beginning in the fall of 2013.
