I knew about the network, I remember listening to Penn Jilette's Sunday School a while back, but I didn't know about the roundtable one. That sounds great as well. I knew about the other shows, they were on there when I last listened, and his wife had one about child rearing with his old female host at one point, I believe. Speaking of his home improvement stuff and his buddy Ray, there's a whole cable TV series I watched online a while back where he builds a house with all his friends and sells it for a million dollars.
I've heard of Dance Hall Crashers, but never really heard them that much. I'll need to listen to more of them. I love Save Ferris's cover of "Come on Eileen", The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are just great (everyone knows the one about knocking on wood, and "Rascal King" is of course the ACE Podcast's intro from when I listened), and Reel Big Fish's "Beer" and "Sell Out" are some of my favorite songs. I love Streetlight Manifesto, No Doubt, and others as well. If you've never heard a song called "Tallulah" by Company of Thieves, I actually first heard it on the radio station I manage, and it's one of my favorites for sure. Another band I like that isn't ska, but uses horns, is Foxy Shazam, whom I got on the same radio station when I was a DJ.
And I really gotta finish reading Mockingjay and exercise like I've been saying since forever ago this break, so you've got me beat so far. lol I wish there were a duck pond near my house. We do have a nice trail with a creek, though, and there's a (smelly) duck pond outside one of the dorms on my college's campus.
All of my Steam games. That's pretty much my answer to your question. I hope Destiny turns out awesome for you.
Just looked up a couple reviews from Gamespot and IGN for Anarchy Reigns. It looks like a Dreamcast game, and sounds like it gets some legit criticism, but the concept looks very fun to me. Speaking of legitimacy, I'm starting to question the harshness of IGN reviews towards game problems I consider either very minor, or not really problems based on their Alice: Madness Returns review and the one I just watched for Anarchy Reigns. I don't know, something about the way IGN criticized those two games just seems a bit off to me.
Well, good luck on getting your chops up in AR.
Those are some awesome framed/signed pictures to have on your Donkey Kong wall. It's also cool you have a Donkey Kong cabinet. So is EGM still doing print subscriptions, or was it a digital sub you cancelled?
Ok, that's what I figured. I know there's a tower defense genre, so thought I'd make sure. lol
I would get Arc Squadron on my phone if it could run it. It does look great.
That music from Radiant Historia is intense, I like it.
I often found the timing inconsistent in Elite Beat Agents as well. It sometimes couldn't seem to decide what I should be following: beat, rythm, vocals? But I still consider it one of my favorite games ever.
Double Dragon Neon looks fun, as does Infinite. Don't know about 7, but Mario Kart 8 looked damn pretty when I saw a trailer for it on Nintendo Direct.
Confused me too at first. I was like, "wait, I never played Shadowrun, but I definitely don't think it was an FPS." lol
Yeah, I kind of figured. The grass is always greener when you're a tourist, and aren't paying $500 in taxes every time you sneeze or take a shit, like you do in NY and I imagine London. lol
I actually hate COD, but kinda like Halo from what I've played, so I'm going to pretend this blog was about COD, and then slow clap like William Randolph Hearst up there.
Adam and Drew what now? It's like I learn a new awesome thing every time I comment you. lol
And I might see if I like some India Arie, myself. She seems like a cool lady. A quick Bing search yielded some decent clips.
I rented Rogue Squadron II a couple times, and it was fun and looked great for its time. I need a new Gamecube controller, though, actually. Dammit, I just bought a TV.
I love horns in music in general. Ska is one of my favorite genres because of horn instruments.
And thanks, man. Now I gotta get back on the wagon, though. I'm still skinny, but I lost a lot of strength from being sick recently, and have definitely taken a few liberties with my diet this break. lol Have fun on your walks, they can really be therapeutic, I find.
