I'm into car jacking fantasy, but the store robbery thing bothers me a little, because I've seen them happen in real life.

Ha ha. i would pick up a second copy if I found one still sealed as an insurance against future loss.
I love Crackdown. My buddy and I played it co-op like crazy. Shooting and platforming around the cities worked great. Driving was a little sloppy, but as long as you avoided the races, it was fun as heck.
There was an issue with the controls in the earlier games that discouraged me as well. I think Crackdown nailed that part of it.
I'm rereading it because I was intrigued by his idea of the changing stages of human civilization from Empire, to Monarchy/Religious Authority, to Trader dominated and onward. I think we today are in the Trader stage and I can't wait to read book 2 to see where Asimov thinks Civilization heads to next. I wonder what Sid Meier has to say about all this?
I just read that poem the other day.
There's this comment by him in the prologue about seeing a bicycle silently passing him in his carriage as a sign of the changing times. I laughed at that and then seriously wondered why the bicycle was only invented in 1820 and not long before.
I've been meaning to watch the classic Bela Lugosi Dracula movie and maybe that Francis Ford Coppola one too. I also want to read the Bram Stoker Dracula book. I've read the first Anne Rice Interview of a Vampire book. It was ok. I like those Hammer Horror flicks too with Chrostopher Lee as the Vampire. In Oblivion right now, I am a Vampire. It's been an annoyance so far, but I may come to terms with it and even like it eventually. Mooohaaaa!
A black leading man too. Not common in the sixites.
The PS4 has a little bit of style but the X1 is just to boxy for my taste. What happened to the curves of the slim 360?
I've played only a little bit of Vice City. I bought the seven CD soundtrack for that game though. What a great deal it was. $50 for all that music and the funny DJ skits in between songs and fake commercials. I still recite certain ones today like the ad for the fake movie Exploder.
But that's about it for my involvement in this franchise. I've always been turned off by being a shady character or bad guy in games. I'm not into gangster films either. However, the open worldness of the new game has me very excited. You can really do anything you want in it. To heck with robbin' stores. I prefer stealing cars myself.
