Yeah, i ... Didn't even like the first one. Loved the a team movie though.
I'm excited for Andromeda largely because it's a AAA title releasing close to my birthday (in Europe, ON my birthday). I guess we'll see how generic I like my 3rd person shooters, cause I'll likely ask for it as a gift. I got The Last Guardian as a Christmas present because I wouldn't be willing to take a $60 risk after some of the reviews it got with my own money, but I was curious enough to want it. We'll see if I like Andromeda as much as I wound up liking that game (which I can recognize every last flaw in; reviewers weren't wrong, I just thought the good aspects of TLG overcame the bad parts).
That sucks, but hopefully they can find a way to continue the story. Comic books seem to be a good medium for doing that.
I didn't know last year's sales were down. I think it has a lot to do with how flooded the market was. It was like a golden age of gaming in one year and I bet a lot of people were scattering their purchases more than usual. I certainly was. I definitely took advantage of sales quite a bit too.
Funny enough, the first two FF movies are the only ones I can say I've fully paid attention to while watching and therefore the only ones I've seen. 2 Fast 2 Furious was one I loved back in jr. high.
I think there's still satire after his family leaves in both the main story and especially the side missions. I will admit it may be the side missions where the bulk of satire happens in GTA V, but it's there. I don't believe they're presenting the three characters in the game as anything but despicable, exaggerated personalities meant to comment on some of the dumber aspects of American government and culture (and subculture).
I'll give you that there may be some satire in SRIV that goes over my head, since if it's satire about the game industry, I owned 0 systems when that game came out. But what I've played so far just seems like a parody of games themselves, not so much a commentary on the industry. Again, I fully admit there could be something they're satirizing I just don't realize because I wasn't gaming for a while.
I want to say I saw Game Grumps play Endless Ocean once. And that is the extent of my knowledge on all of these games.
beer, beer, leroy brown, baddest beer in the whole beer beer. beerer than a beer yard beer. beer than a ol' king beer.
Are you saying FF Worlds better be good, or RotTR better be good? Boo urns?
I wonder if The Mouse ever experimented ...
