Yup, I did it. And I'm already sucked in, even though I didn't finish the first game. It felt so damn good to be back in these games though, I had no idea how much I missed it. I quit playing the first one on my PSP, and never picked it up again cause I got the Vita.

The graphics look pretty great, honestly, much better than I remember PSP games looking.  Almost looks like a Vita game.  It's sprites on top of 3D backgrounds, but there's also cool effects like this rain effect that blurred the screen that was really cool too.

I'll let you know more as I play it.

I know nothing about this game. What system? What's the game about?

PSP and they are turn based RPGs. You play as a young girl and her adopted brother. Your dad disappears during a mission and you set off to look for him, uncovering a web of mystery and intrigue along the way.

I wonder how it handles on PC. I heard the first port had problems.

Well after looking at the steam reviews I do see some mentioning issues with the game, but for the majority it works fine or they don't care.

I have the first game on Steam and PSP. It was crap on Steam at first but they released a raft of patches which made it playable.

I will pick it up but I want to actually finish the first game. I tend to take on too many requests and get bogged down. There's so much in the game that it is easy to do.

I skipped most of the side stuff when I played.  It's enough just to focus on the main story.

Playstation's handhelds have amazing looking games. Are they also phones? Can I use them as phones?

No.  But I think there is a phone that plays playstation games....forget what it's called.

I did beat the first game and I remember enjoying it a lot, even if the story was forgettable. I wish I could get this one but my PSP broke. Have fun!

I always liked PSP games and felt that they were undervalued by folks. There are some really good games and even though they were fragile, I liked the UMD format. Glad you're enjoying this game.

thanks man, it's really good. I'm not crazy about UMD's, I prefer cards, but it was cool you could get movies for your PSP.

Yeah the movies were cool and if you had the cable you could play them on a TV. I spent way too much money on UMD Movies.
