I forgot to tell you guys and girls the other news - I'm on a diet. I'm eating half as much, only the occasional chip or snack, no soda or Starbucks drinks, and soon I'm gonna start walking again. I've lost five pounds so far, but I have a long way to go. It hasn't been that hard, and I'm pretty committed... I'm just sick of being fat. We'll see how it goes!

Well good for you. I started going to the gym in February. I’ve missed a couple of weeks lately due to back issues. Iosing Weight over 40is hard, lol.

it is really hard. I have to lose a lot of weight. But, it took a long time to gain it, so it will probably take time to lose it.  I'm trying to keep a long term attitude about it.

the big culprit was lunch. I was eating a huge sandwich and a pile of chips every day. One day I just realized I was gorging myself. So now I'm eating a half sandwich and chips only once or twice a week, and not as many as I used to. I think cutting out the soda and starbucks drinks helps too. I've been eating more fruit as well. It's hard but I really want to lose weight.

Eventually, you will get more used to the taste of health stuff and the crap you were eating will be the turn off. At least, that has been my experience when dieting. Plus, I just don't like how heavy foods make me feel heavier.

Im working on losing weight as well. Its been kinda on and off but I have found if I fast in the evenings it helps me big time. I need to get back on that, I also got into going for walk and playing Pokemon Go. When the big heatwave hit Texas I stopped but I need to get back out there and catch more pokemon!

Good for you. It'll vastly improve your life I think. I'm starting a diet and I'm already having more energy and feeling better. I've completely fixed up my kitchen and started making all my own meals working out of this Dr. Fuhrman's cook book. It cuts out a lot of processed foods and focuses on GBOMBS, as he calls it: greens, beans, onions, mushrooms, berries and seeds. I'm loving it and I'm going to save a lot of money not eating out anymore. I'm making cookies tomorrow.

Congrats! I have cut out soda as well but I had Starbucks yesterday. I tried some Coconut Milk iced latte drink. I went in for a regular iced coffee but the digital menu sold me on the other drink.
