There's a New Machine at the Arcade - Kid Chameleon

The idea behind the Sega Genesis game Kid Chameleon is that a kid (with sunglasses) gets sucked into a video game world where he dons masks that give him various powers to defeat the game. You can be a samurai, a knight, and even an axe-wielding maniac (among other things). It's actually quite clever sometimes, but is also far from the best game available on the Genesis.

I didn't have it as a kid, but my friend did, and I would go over to his house to play it. I always found it fascinating, but eventually I would get tired playing it - it wasn't very exciting. Still, I always thought that it was very cool, and I would try it again later.

I believe it's available on a lot of Genesis compilations, but I don't know if it's on the mini-Genesis that just came out.

When I played Kid Chameleon on one of the Genesis collections, it was better than what I thought it would be.  Just a fun little hop and bop platformer.  Nothing special and it ain't no Mario World, but not bad either.

Yeah, it's not bad, but not great either.

I remember playing a platformer called Alisia Dragoon at a Genesis kiosk at Walmart when I was a kid. It never made any Genesis collection, but I believe Sega did put it on the mini-Genesis.

You know, I've heard if that but never played it, not even on emulation.

I played this on the latest Genesis collection on Xbox. I thought it was fine. I like all those outfits.

This game never appealed to me. All I saw was kid in sunglasses and then tried other games. Reading your discription it makes the game sound much more interesting.

It's good, but could be a lot better.
