I actually have never played an F-Zero game. But I've heard the legends.

You've never played an F-Zero game?  I've played all the ones that were released in the US (Japan got an extra GBA game and the 64DD add-on).  I also played the F-Zero arcade game once.

Did you know there was an F-Zero anime cartoon that was on Saturday mornings in the US for a while?

I think the weirdest example of a video game getting a novel is Xevious.

At one point I think a Tetris movie was under discussion.

Ug. Couldn't be worse than the Battleship movie.

Looks like it doesn't follow the games really, but I do like the aesthetic. I'd read that if it were in English, for sure. I'd buy an art book of it in any langauge.

Yeah it looks cool.

That's some cool sci-fi setting. Reminds me Gunnm (Battle Angel Alita). Cool stuff.

Nothing like futuristic racing. Especially compared to NASCAR.

That's pretty neat.

One of the weirdest things I found in recent years was that the NES version of Ultima III had J-pop versions of two if its songs, with full Japanese vocals.

Jeez. I didn't know they were doing game tie-ins that far back.

That book makes F-Zero much cooler to me. I'm sure I tried the SNES game but futuristic racers aren't my thing.

I dig Wipeout. Depends.

If I can crash my car/cybertruck into other cars/cybertrucks, then I'll love it.
