I've been dabbling with a few games other than Tales of Vesperia, Ratchet and Clank, and Fantasian.

I've also been fooling with the Playstation Remote App for my iPad. It works good sometimes, sometimes not so much. I ordered an ethernet cable though, so I think that will fix it... the wireless in the PS4 isn't so hot, so I think that's where the problem is.

Anyway, I played the first level of one of my favorite games, Rez, which was originally a PS2 game (and I clearly remember the first time I saw someone playing it.) It's really trippy, but also sort of a time capsule of pre-9/11 optimism.

I also played a little of Red Dead Redemption, which looked amazing on the iPad screen. I'm probably only a quarter into the game. I'd love to play more of this once I finish some other games.

As far as iPad games, I checked out Ocean Horn 2 last night, which is a blatant Wind Waker clone, but a very good one with high production values. It was Apple's flagship game when they launched Apple Arcade. The combat is different from Wind Waker, and that disappointed me at first, but now I'm appreciating the combat on its own merits. One cool thing I like that instead of a sailboat, you have a little tugboat like thing.

Well. There are a lot of games to play. I've found that I do best when I switch back and forth between two games, but it's nice to sample some things sometimes.

Ocean Horn sounds kinda cool. I'd like a little tugboat of my own.

That's why I loved Wind Waker - traveling by sea is romantic. I'm gonna play more tonight.

Yeah, that's part of what drew me to the game too. I gotta find a place to keep a Nintendo system hooked up.

I reviewed the original Oceanhorn game.  I would've liked to have reviewed the sequel, but that never happened.

There's a bit of history about Red Dead Redemption that I find interesting.  You know the first game in the series was called Red Dead Revolver.  Originally, it was going to be published by Capcom, and one of the things they were planning to do with it was change the name to Gun.Smoke, and have it be related to their classic NES and arcade western themed shooter.  I always thought that was interesting and might've played the game had it been called Gun.Smoke instead because I rented the NES game quite a few times back in the day.

Right now I'm playing a game that was orignally on Xbox One, but now it's on Switch.  It's Ori and the Blind Forest.  Pretty much half of the games I wanted to play on Xbox One are now on Switch!

But here in about another week or so I'll be hopefully playing New Pokemon Snap!  I'm going to post my blog about my favorite Pokemon spin off games in the next day or so.

I have played Gunsmoke. But only on emulation. I did sample the level one music once and slowed it way down. Sounded epic. Laughing

i like Oceanhorn 2. I did play a little of the first one, but that seems rudimentary compared to this one.
