Well, today is officially the start of BaD, but this is my second blog of the month, thus the 2 in the title. As also indicated by the title, forums! Didn't get to talk much about how excited I am to have them all done. It's been a long month getting them out the door and I've spent most of my free moments working on them. Still have a few things to incorporate, but I think for a first go, they're in pretty good shape. I hope that despite BaD starting you guys join in on the fun in there.

To that end, here's today's thread, featured in the Nintendo Sub-Forum:
Third Party Nintendo Games - Share Your Ideas!

Inspired by Nintendo's investor meeting and news of their plans to let third parties work on their properties, I encourage you to lend up some dream offerings you might have with Nintendo IP/Dev Studio pairings.

Otherwise, today has been pretty quiet. As I indicated in my last BaD post, it's me and Chessa's 11th anniversary and today is the official day. Unfortunately she's not feeling too well and is battling another bout of insomnia, so it'll probably be an early night after a bit of The Last of Us.

Work has been all about continuing support of a big project I launched to production at the end of last month and now building out a Continuous Integration environment using Jenkins that interfaces with a static code analysis tool from IBM called Coverity. Should be an interesting project, as I've never got to set up Jenkins from scratch, nor have I been at a job that really did CI.

Until tomorrow - stay BaD PixlBit crew!

One of these days, I'm gonna write a paragraph just like your last one about how I'm managing the radio station.

Today was an adventure in IT networking. Ok, not really. There was a simple solution that has caused a new problem, one that I can only think of a couple ways to fix. One is wireless and a password for only myself, the other is Bluetooth. However, given distance, obstructions, and possibly a lack of Bluetooth on my office computer, I think either wireless or just doing something my boss may not like (not saying I'd go behind her back at all, but it may become a necessity) are the only options. Or, if we get Wide Orbit to update our equipment, we could explain what they need to account for, as I was told today the university will not be handling that update, we have part of the budget set aside for Wide Orbit to handle certain things.

Now, can you, with the help of Dora the Explorer, determine the issue? And then explain to me what you said, because I'm becoming increasingly interested in IT. I think my role as Station Manager is best described as part music director, part fedora hacker. Cool

Oh, and this is the perfect time to mention that you have done an amazing job with message deletion! So much more convenient than when the page refreshed every time. Can't thank you enough for all you do. Forums time.
