Ugh, don't buy Muscle March. I know its tempting for $5 but it's actually a terrible game. The videos are more than you'll ever need to see.
I myself will be jumping on Dark Void Zero. Maybe at some point down the line I'll grab Starship Defense, but for the time being I'd rather kill myself than play another Tower Defense Game.
Yeah, this game was confusing enough with the stylus, it's going to be a mess with buttons and a D-Pad.
To my knowledge, no changes have been made to improve the online play. That's not to say there won't ever be, but I'm guessing it's unlikely as Brawl+ online players can not partake in a match with non-Brawl+ players (according to the site).
I wasn't a huge fan of either to be honest.
As far as a single game of the year, I don't believe in it, so I didn't do it. Each game in my list is great in its own way, and I can't say I liked one over the other on any of the systems.
Also, each staff member will provide their games of the year in their own format. If Chessa or Luke choose to nominate a single game of the year, they are more than welcome to. You'll see when Luke's goes up later just how different his awards are than mine.
Hey, it's not just me. Check out Gamespot for instance. The only nominee on their list that was 360 exclusive was Forza. I couldn't in good faith hand the award over to that game, nor could I put Halo 3: ODST into consideration.
Outside of those two, what else was there as far as exclusive games go?
Definitely grabbing The Magic Obelisk. Curious about Castlevania, but being that I'm not really into the older games in the series I'll probably skip.
Definitely a day one purchase for me.
Yeah, I'm hoping Nintendo continues these sales like Sony does with PSN.
Thanks for writing this up, Phil! I really hadn't had a chance to investigate the particulars of this game, but this wraps it up pretty well.
It seems a number of interesting choices have been made to change the formula up to make this one fell fresher. After reading these changes, my interest level for the title has really shot up. Typically, I'm not the world's biggest Final Fantasy fan, but this seems like the kind of game that could sway my opinion.
This is freakin' awesome news! I really wanted to buy the first Badman, but now I guess I'll get both of them in one shot.
