yeah I was just thinking of that design of the old Jet Set Radio games.  Video games are cool.  

A lot of people like Okami!  And I've never played it!  I'm lame!

Child of Light WAS really beautiful.  I'd like to see a 3D game that had that same style, that would be amazing.

well, that's not quite how I meant traditional.  I just meant non-realistic or trying to be photo realistic.  Honestly, I like the look of NSMB, but like I said in my blog, there's just something about Super Mario World that is timeless.  I like the designs better than other 2D mario games for sure, even if the new ones have "better" graphics. 

Did you get Devastation?  I love Transformers back then, and so did my brother, and I'm thinking of getting it for him for Xmas.

yeah I love Dragon Quest VIII.  Such a beautiful game.  

I think Super Mario World has a kind of minimalistic, yet unique look that kind of stands out from other SNES games.  That's not just nostalgia talking... I never had a SNES as a kid, and only discovered the game later.  There's just a timeless nature to it that I think will last longer than the NES games.  The music is great too. :)

I've been lame about buying new Wii U games. No Mario Maker, no Smash, no Splatoon.  I dunno why.  

Splatoon, huh?  That's a pretty interesting answer.  Does it really look good?  I love how Wii U games look, but I never considered that one.  

I need to buy Ori and the Blind Forest, heard great things.
