Bargain Bin Buys- Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny

Posted on 10/08/2016 at 06:28 PM | Filed Under Blogs

I've almost tried a couple different Rune Factories, but never really went through with it. Hard to believe you slammed 80 hours into this sucker.  Must have held your attention well.

I mean, I guess I just have this prejudice against Wii games. I hate how the look.  Mario Galaxy looks good, but everything else?  And don't get me started on Last Story. Grrr.   :)

I hope you're loving your dog time. It's really great.

I haven't seen civil war since I saw in the theater.  Really enjoyed that movie though.

time for some console gaming soon, I think.

Spotify on PS4 is...magic!

I don't think PS4 does that, but don't quote me. NOthing like Radiohead and JRPG's. :p

I used to make custom soundtracks on the original Xbox. That was a shitload of fun for TOny Hawk, Racing games, and freakin madden.  When I scored a touch down, it would play Nine Inch Nails.

I'm not down with gamestop either.  I'm sure there's some nice people who work there, but their corporate policies make me want to smoke crack.

I haven't watched any Supergirl, but I'm glad all those DC shows are doing ok.  My dad was into Flash for a while and then lost interest.

I was reorganizing my room today and was sorting through some old game boxes and cartridges and CD's and what not that I don't really need anymore.  I probably won't get rid of them, but they're going into storage.

i respect that you're doing that charity. Sounds fun.

I'm not really a puzzle lover when it comes to games, though sometimes I do enjoy them.  That stuff does keep your brain sharp though.

I've liked Cary's reviews before they were cool!

So you took a stop-animation class?  That must have been really neat.

you're way ahead of me. But I'm chipping away at it slowly. I just love the look of it. It's such a pleasant world to disappear into, and it's so simple, but it has this earnest heartfelt quality that is really neat.

Dragon Quest VII is sad sometimes.  It's an interesting experience.

Xcom is tough, it's all about strategy.  You can't just rush in with guns blazing. It's difficult, but once you start thinking more strategically, the game gets more fun.  Also, save a lot, so you can go back in case you do something dumb and lose a soldier u like.  But sometimes, soldiers just die, or have to be sacrificed. It's a cruel world in that game.  :)
