I read an interesting novel last year about Chicago in the era of AIDS, called The Great Believers by Rebecca Makkai. Heartbreaking.

I've heard of the Surge... kind of a scifi Dark Souls. 

That's funny about Mark's Farm Together squatter. You never know what a real human player will do. 

Well, you should still be safe out there... there are increasing reports and studies of people being infected a second time months after the first infection. You've got good health, but you could infect somebody else. This shit is insane. 

I've always wanted to play Shovel Knight, but have been keeping postponing buying it when it's on sale. One of these days, I'm gonna get it, probably on the Switch. It seems like it's all the good things of 8-bit and none of the bad. 

Celeste looks cool, but WAY out of my league. 

Jeez. I bought it but didn't get very far in it. Got frustrated with it. That sounds crazy. 

There's definitely a trailer. It looks awesome. Was supposed to come out this summer. I think it's called "The French Dispatch".

Yeah he has a new movie but it got delayed because of the virus. It's about the running of a small magazine in France in the 60s I think.

Yeah, we take digital download games for granted now, but it all started back then. Crazy. 

I can't remember how I played with the D-Pad. I never finished it (got stuck on a boss), and I can't remember if the swinging was as artful as it was on the NES. I'd like to give it another shot though. Maybe I'll get it on steam sometime if it's on there. 

Jeez, that's really pink!

I was really into GI Joe as a kid. I read the comic religiously (which was actually pretty good!), and of course had all the toys. I got a lot of joy out of them. 

I remember my friend playing Red Faction on PS2 (I think) when I visited him in New York when I was living in San Francisco. I like the idea of those games, but never played one. 

That Dark Angel game sounds terrible.
