I loved Mario 3D World.  Maybe it wasn't as good as Mario galaxy but I had an awful lot of fun with it.  

Im also big into Wipeout. Had the original game for PSONE back in the day.  Loved the soundtrack.

As far as time warping farts, well -- it's not that they're not possible, it's just that they are difficult to aim. You can hope to strike Hitler with one, but you're more apt to stink up Woodrow Wilson.  Shit is tough.
