100 Steam Games

Posted on 12/28/2018 at 09:45 AM | Filed Under Blogs

Umm, I'm somewhere close to 900... I dare not even look at what I spent between Humble Bundles and Steam itself. Actually, you know what, I'm doing it now, so thanks Joe. Will report back with my findings.

PAW Patrol: On a Roll! Review

Posted on 11/21/2018 at 09:23 AM | Filed Under Review

I'll admit, this review is a bit phoned in, mostly because it's hard to see the appeal as an adult gamer. I played through about five levels myself and was intensely bored/underwhelmed. But I watched my kids play through the entire game and they had a blast, and frankly, that's most important.

This is a game for kids who like the show and the characters. They're much more forgiving of the game's shortcomings because they just like being able to control the characters and see the stories play out across each mission.

hahaha, well done, sir! I still need that Solaire Amiibo. How will I properly praise the sun without it?

Nickelodeon Kart Racers Review

For sure. On the Switch, just get Mario Kart. It's better in every imaginable way. On the other systems, I almost want to recommend it. But I'd say if they make a sequel with more characters and some improvements, that would be the one to get.

Damn shame this didn't turn out well. Looked pretty neat and I had high hopes for it.

Flipping Death Review

I'm hit or miss with them. Some really connect, while others don't. A lot of this one feels like brute force, which groups it with the ones I usually don't connect with. The characters and the art really elevate this one to something more than what it would be otherwise though. So despite my frustration, I did enjoy my time with Flipping Death.

Nefarious Review

Just wanted to quickly note that the game breaking bug has been patched and the developers moved the release date out on the Switch so that nobody will ever deal with this on their copy. Unfortunately, I can't say my opinion on the game has changed any, I just didn't think this was polished enough to be worthy of a release.

Marble It Up! Review

Did it as a recommendation since the game isn't really fully developed. Maybe when all the content hits, I'll adjust the review and score it appropriately.
