there're good gaming laptops but they're expensive. The problem with a gaming laptop is the frequently don't cool well, and they burn themselves out when you're playing long sessions.
I would recommend a desktop. Cheaper, more dependable, but less mobile.
I think it would be cool if you did videos for those wii shovelware games....
