i use bluetooth sometimes, but mostly I can't handle the lack of fidelity.  It is convenient when I'm sitting out back, but I wish it was better.

i think you're right.  the character models ARE cool though, especially the unique ones, I just wish there were more.  I love the monster designs too.  

I guess even VIII was like that too, but I didn't notice it as much back then. 

Jeez, I'm only at the part where all the townspeople are animals. I'm slow.  There's only one thing that annoys me about this game - the lack of NPC models.  All the NPC's look the same from town to town, and while I understand why they did it, it's one of my pet peeves.  Otherwise, it's a great game.  

that's probably true, but if I'm jogging I'd need the right pair of phones too, or they'll bounce off.  I don't know, I haven't decided. 

the sennheisers are good, I've just been using them for about five years now and everything sort of sounds the same through them. I used to mix with them, but I learned my lesson about doing that (always mix with monitors). They've treated me well, but one of these days I'm gonna try something else.
