Yeah that same pattern has been around since nes days. I was thinking of atari days though cause my brother has been playing missile command on his phone and in those game the only progression is difficulty and the inevitable defeat. You cant beat those games you can only make it harder on yourself. Adds up to a weird philosophy ha ha
