I even like the one with Paul Newman where he's a sculptor trying to sculpt the face of Jesus, and then there's Simon the Magus up to no good... I don't remember the name of that one. Like I said, I'm not religious, but I'm just a sucker for the time period.
I'm thrilled I've been trying to make a game again, and I'm pretty sure I've learned what I need to finish the process. Very exciting.
When I think of making a first person shooter, I imagine something like a cross between Quake Arena and the original Team Fortress, but much much bloodier than either, maybe voxel based stuff so if you shoot someone in the head with a rail gun you can see through the hole. Yeah!
I've never played the Oddworld Games. I think I have some of them, just haven't had the chance.
I always thought it would be cool if attacks/instances in an action game were tied more into the music. I mean, if rhythm games are possible, would a Doom like rhythm game be possible? I don't see why not?? But I wouldn't know how to make it.

I loved Quake 3. I played it over and over and over. I still play it every couple of years. I'll probably get the remake when it comes out.

Ha ha, that Seaman game sounds nuts. I'm not sure if Ive heard of that before. There were a lot of strange experiments on the Dreamcast. I loved that system. It still feels "futuristic" to me in my head.
yeah i never finished the others too. What bothered me most is I wasn't interested in the procedural dungeons. But they're not procedural this time, so I'm excited.

I really wished I raced more in games. I was playing Driveclub VR when I first got the VR thing but I've been busy and haven't had the time. WHen Gran Turismo comes out though.....

I tried to read some Star Wars ones. Some people love them but I couldn't handle it. I think it's the idea i'm more enamored with rather than anyone's execution of it.
